Here's my unconventional story

I honestly didnt understand how people chose one career for the rest of their lives. Sooo… I didn’t. I went to school for marketing, business and digital design, to give myself the most room to grow in my passions.
I didn’t feel like school was scratching my creative itch enough, so in between working to pay off school, I taught myself everything there is to know about graphic design, branding, website etc (aka my new hyperfixation and special interest).
advocacy, and art
I’ve always been passionate about being involved in my community and advocating for marginalized groups. From protests to initiate my own events to working for non profits and becoming a paralegal working with survivors. Activism is everything I’m passionate about and that’s the root of why I started Artivism Studio. To advocate for an equitable world for all neurodivergent adults in the workspace. To final embrace the weird in an inclusive space.
the 9-5 crashout
Plot twist: I could only keep running at 100mph for so long. I spent my whole life pretending to be “normal” to fit in. The intense interests, gold fish memory, very particular sensory issues I just BURIED for life and it all finally burst.
I spent 5 months with a therapist after leaving a toxic 9-5 to finally dig out why I felt so different. Surpriseeee: I’m AuDHD with OCD and PTSD. It finally explained so much about who I am, and allowed me to finally live a life that felt like mine.
No more masking, no more feeling like I need to be someone else I finally decided to start embracing a life for ME in a career helping other neurodivergent business owners and creatives do the same exact thing.
YAY LET'S WORK TOGETHER
